RGV's "Raktha Charithra" Split in Two

Ram Gopal Varma's ''Raktha Charitra'' will be going on sets today. The movie, based on the life of ''Paritala Ravi'' will be made in two parts in three languages - Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. Vivek Oberoi and Surya Sivakumar will be playing the lead roles. Collection King Mohan Babu will be playing an important role i.e. the role of N T Rama Rao. The other cast and crew members are yet to be finalised. Speaking about the movie, Ram Gopal Varma said "Raktha Charitra will be a fiction based on the real incidents happened in Rayalaseema. I had been thinking to make a movie on the life of Paritala Ravi from five years. In this regard, I made some research and ground work. I had even met some of the Ravi's family members and learned many facts from them. There is a great vastness in all these facts and will be practically difficult to show them in two hours. Hence, I had decided to make the movie in two different parts. These two parts will be released almost simultaneously in summer. We are planning to release the second part just in a week after the release of the first part. This will probably be the first time that the two parts are being released almost simultaneously. Movie will be shot in Hyderabad and Ananthapur.''
